Clover -- David Dempsey Weaver, 83, of 1451 Woodend Lane, passed away Monday, August 3rd, 2015, at Hospice & Community Care in Rock Hill.

Born in Blacksburg, he was the widower of Susie Mae Weaver and the son of the late Mary Weaver. Mr. Weaver retired from textilesa and was a member of Church In God of Gastonia.

Mr. Weaver is survived by a daughter, Susan Reese, of the home; one brother, William "Bill" Weaver, of Gaffney; and two grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Weaver was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur "Junebug" Weaver.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 5th, 2015, from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm at Gordon Mortuary. Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 6th, 2015, at 4:00 pm at Lakeview Memory Gardens, 1774 Filbert Highway Clover, South Carolina 29745. Tim Reese, Timothy J. Reese, David Reese, Chris Rumfelt, Richard Schuhlein, and Dwayne Dover will serve as pallbearers.

The family will be at the residence.
