David Harold Ledford, 59, passed away on August 13, 2026 at his residence in Grover, North Carolina.

David was born on April 17, 1967 in Cleveland County to the late Harold "Shorty" Edwin Ledford and Jane Bridges Venter. He worked as a sawman at Thornburg Machine Shop and Supply Company.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his nephew; Robert Alan Blanton.

David is survived by his sister, Angela Sides and her husband Kenny of Grover; nephew, Anthony Scott Blanton of Cottondale, Florida and his dog, Luger.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 15, 2026 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Stamey- Tysinger Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at 3:00pm at Stamey- Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roy Glaspy officiating.

Burial will follow at St. Paul Baptist Church Cemetery in Casar, North Carolina.
