David L. Huffstetler, age 83, resident of 415 Range Road, Kings Mountain, NC died January 25, 2014 at his home.  He was born in Gaston Co. NC to the late Robert Theodore Huffstetler and Mylie Dixon Huffstetler.  He was also preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Julia Yarbro Huffstetler; brothers, Bobby Huffstetler and Samuel Bruce Huffstetler; sister, Sarah Mae McDaniel.  Mr. Huffstetler was a fabricator and drafting expert, retiring after 25 years from Mundy Machine Co, Dallas, NC.  He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, NC and served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.  Mr. Huffstetler enjoyed fishing, golfing, farming, and gardening.  The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Hospice of Gaston County for their love and care.
