Mr. David Thie Hayes, 51, of 753 Cedar Grove Church Road, Vale, NC passed away Friday, April 15, 2011. Services were held at North Brook Baptist Church, Cherryville, NC. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Hayes is survived by his wife of 6 years, Sally Ann Belcher; his mother, Rlee Canipe Schronce and husband Frank of Vale, NC; his father, Ray Ovin Hayes and wife Barbara of Golden, Mississippi; 1 daughter, Michelle Hayes and Todd of Vale; 2 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Jeffery Hayes and Timothy Hayes, both of Newton; and 3 step-brothers, Robbie Schronce of Lincolnton, and Tracy Mosteller and Scott Mosteller, both of Vale.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: North Brook Baptist Church Building Fund, 7421 Flay Road, Cherryville, NC 28021.
