Deborah "Debbie" Denise Anthony Donovan, age 63, died Tuesday, February 7, 2016 at her home. Born in Key West, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Franklin Stevenson and Leona Mary Huffstetler Anthony. Debbie was a member of First Love Independent Baptist Church where she taught a women's Bible study group. She retired from Eaton Corporation after a number of years of service. Debbie enjoyed crocheting, sewing, cooking and baking. In addition to her parents, Debbie is preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Burton and Gary Burton.

Debbie is survived by her husband of 44 years, Allen Donovan; a son, David Larsen and wife Lisa of Grover; two daughters, Angel Southards of Shelby, and Dawna Emory and husband Lee of Grover; a brother, Adrian Anthony of Shelby; five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 2:00 pm at First Love Independent Baptist Church with Rev. Buster Griffin officiating. The family will receive friends an hour before the service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
