Deborah “Debbie” Vinesett Anthony

Deborah “Debbie” Vinesett Anthony, 59, of Maple Springs Church Rd., went to be with her Lord, Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, at Hospice at Wendover.  A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Colman and Euzelia Simmons Vinesett.  She was a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church where she has been the church secretary for the past 15 years. She previously worked at Time Warner for 20 years.  Debbie will be remembered as one who cared for many, and loved by all who knew her.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Jack Simmons and Wallace Vinesett.

SURVIVED:  She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Stanley “Stan” Anthony, of the home; daughter, Jennifer Anthony Pruett and husband Ryan of Cherryville; son, Joshua Bryant Anthony and wife Stacy of Shelby; sisters, Martha Greene, Maxine Cochran and husband Lem, Buena Hester, Pat Ledbetter and husband Tommy, and Jane Raduly; brother, Tom Vinesett and wife Wilma, all of Shelby; step-brother, Bob Blanton of Ellenboro; step-sisters, Grace Constant and husband Bob of Shelby, and Shirley Europa of Matthews; sister-in-laws, Betty Simmons of Gaffney and Doris Vinesett of Shelby; grandchildren, Hadonn Pruett, Caitlyn and Cara Anthony, Paxton and Lily Rea Pruett.

SERVICES:  12PM, Wednesday, at Flint Hill Baptist Church

VISITATION:  The family will receive friends Wednesday, 10-12PM, at the church, and other times at her home.
