Deborah Lynn Wooten

Deborah Lynn Wooten, 53, of 2156 Brookfield Drive, passed away Monday, September 23, 2013 at her residence. A native of Jacksonville Florida, she was born February 13, 1960, daughter of RaDel Gardner Wall and the late Max Luther Wall. She was a loving wife and mother who loved her dogs and riding four-wheelers, she loved to cook, loved her Lord and church family. Her willingness to help anyone in need made her a special person and made her feel good when she would see the smile on their faces. She was a daddy’s girl and enjoyed being in the outdoors. Andy Griffith was her favorite show and she had seen every episode.

PRECEDED: In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her husband, who passed away in April of this year, Floyd “Skeeter” Wooten and her aunt Lynn Anne Laude

SURVIVED: She is survived by one son, Phillip Wooten of Grover and one daughter, Katie Wooten of Shelby; one uncle, Jim Laude; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many beloved cousins whom she loved very much.

SERVICES: A memorial service will be held 4:00 pm Friday at Putnam Memorial Baptist Church.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends 6-7:30 Thursday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby and other times at her home.

CLERGY: Rev. Gary Marburger and Rev. Jeff Brindle will be officiating
