Deborah Ruth Coleman Curlee, of Whiteville passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2019 at the age of 60. Deborah was born February 22, 1959 in Burke County to Russell Coleman and the late Zeta Whisnant Coleman. She loved cats, NASCAR, collecting NASCAR memorabilia, and loved to talk to friends and family. Deborah also enjoyed country music and working crossword puzzles.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Leland Coleman and Roger Coleman.

Deborah is survived by her father, Russell Coleman; sister, Cheryl Helgestad; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday June 22, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services with the Rev. Jerry Brooks officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday,

1-1:45 prior to the service at the funeral home.
