Dewey “Buck” Butler, age 83, of Henrietta, NC, died Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County.
Dewey was born November 26, 1929 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Haskin Butler and Lucille Ledford Butler Latty. He worked in textiles most of his life and was a member of Chase Baptist Church. Dewey enjoyed fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Latty.
Survivors include his sister, Edna Moore of Union, SC.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, September 30, 2013 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Scott Butler officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
