Dewey Edward Lail, 80, of 4025 Fallston Road, Shelby, passed away Friday,
February 13, 2015 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center in Shelby.

Born July 26, 1934 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Lemuel
Clarence Lail and Mullie Estelle Justice Lail. He was of the Baptist faith
and served in the US Army.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou
Hubbard Lail and two brothers, Alvin "Junior" Lail and Ben Lail.

Survivors include his son, Stanley Lee Lail of Belwood; granddaughter,
Savannah Lail; brother, Gorman "Mutt" Lail of Shelby; special sister-in-law,
Reba Mode of Shelby and special nieces Revonda Granger and Renee Chapman.
