SHELBY - Dianne Owens Stanley, age 67, of Shelby went home to be with her Savior Wednesday, February 18, 2015. Born in Shelby, NC on May 18, 1947, Dianne was the daughter of the late William and Christine Owens. She was a member of Lafayette Street United Methodist Church. Dianne is survived by her daughters, Robin Freeman, Sandy Henderson; son, Kevin Stanley; grandchildren, Jonathan Freeman and wife Ashley, Matthew Freeman, Brittany Black; great grandson, Connor Freeman; brothers, Larry Owens and wife Molly, Stanley Owens; niece, Kim Manning and husband Mark, their children Sarah and Daniel. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Lafayette Street United Methodist Church with Rev. Arthur Holland and Pastor Bo Wagner officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at Lafayette Street United Methodist Church. A private family graveside service will be held on Monday, February 23, 2015 at Cleveland Memorial Park.
