Mr. Don Everette Bridges, 66, of 230 South Fork Drive, Shelby, NC passed away Monday, October 11, 2010. Services were held at Westwood Heights Baptist Church. A Private Burial followed.
Mr. Bridges was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Everette Lee Bridges and Nicie Ella Wilson Bridges; 4 brothers, Jack, Gene, Johnny and Jim Bridges; and 3 sisters, Helen Bivins, Ethel Morrison and Juanita Anderson.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Willard Bridges, of the home; 2 sons, David Bridges of Oklahoma City, OK, and Mark Bridges of Shelby; 1 daughter, Amy Black and husband Rev. Jimmy Black of Shelby; 3 grandchildren; and 1 brother, Jerry Bridges and wife Shirley of Shelby.
