Mr. Donald "Don" Howard Huffstetler, 67, of 3941 Fallston Road died
Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.
Born in Cleveland County, he was the son of the late, Howard Samuel
Huffstetler and Ruth Ramsey Huffstetler. Prior to his retirement, Mr.
Huffstetler was a driver for Carolina Freight and also worked with his son
and father-in-law at Hidden Acre Farms.
He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where he served as an
usher.
Mr. Huffstetler is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lynda Hendrick
Huffstetler; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Pam Huffstetler of Shelby;
grandson, Clay Huffstetler of Shelby; mother-in-law, Osteen Hendrick of
Shelby; sisters-in-law and their husbands, Carole Ann and Ronnie Peeler of
Shelby and Barbara and Chris Bridges of Shelby and nieces and nephews, Megan
and Wesley Peeler and Brandon and Cameron Bridges.
The visitation will be 6:00 until 7:30 PM Friday at Stamey Funeral Home in
Fallston. A guest register is available at www.stameyfuneralhome.com.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at Pleasant Grove Baptist
Church with Dr. Tony Fulbright officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill
Memorial Park in Fallston.
