In addition to his mother and step father, Donny is survived by two sisters, Sue Garrett of Shelby, and Robin Thomas and husband Bo of Myrtle Beach SC; four brothers, Steve Spurlin and wife Trudy of Shelby, Scott Spurlin and wife Angela of Shelby, Rusty Spurlin of Shelby and Chris Spurlin of Myrtle Beach SC; numerous nieces and nephews and a special nephew who much thanks is given, Jamie Garrett.

Donny's request was to have no services.
