Donald Edward Neill, 62, of Dallas Bessemer City Highway died Dec. 5, 2014 at his residence. Don was born on April 9, 1952 in Cleveland Co. a son of the late Marcus Buford Zone and Dorothy Elizabeth Gray Neil. He was retired from Freightliner, member of the United Auto Workers, and formerly employed at Dixie Lumber, member of Puett United Methodist Church where he was a former Deacon.

He was a loving father, devoted husband to his late wife Donna Avery Neill, and found great pleasure assisting his daughter with her classroom at Lowell Elementary School.

 

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Donna Avery Neill.

 

Survivors include his daughter Andrea Neill of Dallas and a granddog Brodie.

 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at Puett United Methodist Church at 3 PM with Rev. Cliff Wall officiating with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday at the family life center of Puett United Methodist Church from 6-8 PM.
