Donald Grey Roberts, Jr. age 69 died Saturday October 31, 2015 at his home. Born in Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Donald Grey Roberts, Sr. and Betty Wright Robert.

Donald served in the United States Air Force where he was a member of the Base Bowling Team. He was a member of D.A.V. and Am Vets, and was an avid golfer.

Donald is survived by his wife of 22 years, Diane Turner Roberts, a son, Bruce Roberts and wife Patricia of Stony Point, NC, two daughters, Julie Huffman of Conway, SC, Jeri Spargo and husband Jimmy of Statesboro, GA, one brother, Thomas Larry Roberts of Shelby, six grandchildren, and a niece Tiffini Roberts Hovis of Shelby.

A memorial service will be held 4:00 pm Wednesday November 4, 2015 at the Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends following the service until 6:00pm.
