Donna Haretos went home to the Lord on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby.

She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Arthur and Ellnor Schulz. She was a retired nurse and was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church.

She wed her husband, the late Arthur Haretos, in 1965 and they enjoyed all 47 years they shared together.

Survivors include her daughters, Chrisi (David) Bollinger of Knoxville, Tennessee; Heidi Haretos of Charlotte; sister, Karen (Bruce) Long of Shelby; and a host of extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 2 at 2:00 pm at Ascension Lutheran Church in Shelby. The family will receive friends following the service, in the fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Ascension Lutheran Church or Hospice of Cleveland County.
