Donna Moore Mathis, 56, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2016 at Testa Hospice House. She was born in Shelby to the late Ernest and Marjorie Callahan Moore. She is also predeceased by on brother, Jerry Moore.
Donna is survived by one daughter, Amy Mathis Whelchel; one son, Brian O'Neal Mathis; one granddaughter, Arissa Marie Paige Taylor; two grandsons, Aiden Douglas O'Neal Mathis and Abel Jackson Wyatt Mathis; two sisters, Lenda Queen and Rhonda Keller; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a Devoted Mother, Grandmother and Sister.
A 5:00 p.m.memorial service will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, 746 Trinity Church Rd, Mooresboro, NC 28114 with Pastor Michael Frazier officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Testa Family Hospice House, 321 Kings Mountain Blvd. Kings Mountain, NC 28086 or Cleveland Rutherford Kidney Association, 1017 N Washington St, Shelby, NC 28150. Flowers can be sent to Trinity Baptist Church in Mooresboro, NC.
