EFLAND, N.C. - Doris Curtis Wilson, age 80, of Efland, N.C. passed away Wednesday at Alamance Regional Hospital in Burlington, N.C.
She was born August 18, 1934 in Rutherford County to the late Earl Curtis and Jessie Beason Curtis.
She worked with the Belk Company for many years in Shelby and in Forest City before moving to Durham, N.C.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Wilson Tyndall and husband Rommie Tyndall, also of Efland, and a grandson, Nicholas Tyndall of Durham. She is also survived by a sister, Jerry Spangler Camp of Ellenboro, N.C.
Services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at McKinney Landreth & Carroll Funeral and Cremation Service in Cliffside, N.C. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 - 2:00. Burial services will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park in Shelby.
