Doris Doster Bowles Williams, 82, of Grover, NC went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2012. Services were held at Clearview Baptist Church, Grover, NC. Internment was in Arlington National Cemetery.
Mrs. Bowles was preceded in death by her husband T.H. Bowles; her parents, Mr. and Mrs Rufus Doster and one brother, Junior Doster.
She is survived by son, Duane Williams and wife Tammy of Lincolnton; daughters; Pamela J. Bowles Thacker and husband Rich, Inman of SC; Pat Bowles Hamrick and husband Keeter of Kings Mountain; Toni Williams Weigel of Kings Mountain; sister; Sherry Doster Bradley of Kings Mountain; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild and best friend, Elvie Allen, Grover.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights, Shelby, NC 28150.
