KINGS MOUNTAIN- Dorothy Champion, 90, passed away Wednesday December 23, 2015 at White Oak manor of Kings Mountain. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late M.A. and Sallie Ann Hullender Costner. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Kings Mountain.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Jim Champion; four brothers, and one sister.

SURVIVED: she is survived by a nephew, Kevin Falls and wife Donna; one niece, Susie McDonald and husband Donald.

SERVICES: The funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home.

CLERGY: Rev. Scott Whitner will officiate.

INTERNMENT: Capernaum Cemetery in Waco.
