Dorothy "Dottie" Isley Dickson, age 78 died Saturday May 2, 2015 at Carolinas Rehab Center in Charlotte. Born in Danville, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Boston and Nancy Louise Worthy Isley. Dottie was a long active member of the local theatre. She taught at Cleveland Community College for a number of years in the Humanities Department. She loved to listen and compose music. Dottie enjoyed the arts and witty conversation.

Dottie is survived by two sons, Scott Dickson of Boiling Springs and Patrick Dickson and wife Jennifer of Shelby.

The family will receive friends on Monday May 4, 2015 at her home, 604 Hanover Drive, Shelby, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
