Dorothy Irene "Reenie" Willis Sigmon, 87, of 5785 Burns Nursery Rd, Connelly
Springs, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Brian Center in Hickory.
Mrs. Sigmon was born in Burke County on, August 3, 1923, to the late Lemuel
Farris Willis and Annie Hoyle Willis. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist
Church and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Lester
"Red" Paul Sigmon; four brothers, Sammy, J.C., Millard, and L.E. "Bud"
Willis; and two sisters Beulah Reynolds and Flossie Wright.
She is survived by a son, Don Sigmon and wife Juanita of Hickory; daughter,
Margaret Leonhardt and husband Ray of Connelly Springs; two grandchildren,
Brennan Houser of Oak Park, Calf. and Kelly Ann Pegram and husband David of
Connelly Springs; and one sister Enda Gentry of Newport News, VA.
Visitation, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Monday, Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston.

Funeral Services, 2:00 pm, Tuesday, Zion Hill Baptist Church, Lawndale,.
The body will be placed in the church thirty minutes before the service.
Interment, Zion Hill Baptist Church, Lawndale.
