Mrs. Dorothy Lee McNeilly Pruett, 83 of Casar passed away October 29, 2013
at Carolina House of Forest City.
Born December 22, 1929 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter of the late
John Lero McNeilly and Ethel Elizabeth McFarland McNeilly. She was a
lifelong member of Casar United Methodist Church. Mrs. Pruett worked in
textiles but retired from Cleveland County and was well known for her
cooking.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54
years, Amos Ralph Pruett and two brothers, George Russell McNeilly and James
Edward McNeilly.
Survivors include her son, Michael Pruett and wife, Paula of Ellenboro; two
grandchildren, Kimberly Mullinax and husband, Frankie of Forest City and
Robbie Pruett and wife, Misty of Ellenboro; great granddaughter, Karley
Mullinax of Forest City; sister, Mavin Walker of Taylorsville;
sister-in-law, Isabelle Pruett of Casar and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM, Wednesday at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston
Funeral Service: 1:00 PM, Thursday at Casar United Methodist Church
Officiating: Revs. David Hawkins, Bill Lovelace and Scott Huffman
Burial: will follow in the church cemetery

28043.
