Mrs. Dorothy McGinnis Whitworth, 94, formerly of N. Main St., Waco, NC passed away Sunday, December 19, 2010. Services were held at Waco Baptist Church. Burial followed in Capernaum Cemetery.
Mrs. Whitworth was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Whitworth; her parents, L.W. McGinnis and Susie Smith McGinnis; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters.
She is survived by 1 son, Dale Whitworth and wife Pennie of Raleigh, NC; 1 granddaughter; 2 great-grandchildren; and 1 brother, John McGinnis of Florence, SC.
