Dr. Jack Partain (Jackie Gene Partain), 77, of 204 Gordon Avenue, Boiling Springs, NC, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2010. Services were held at Boiling Springs Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Partain was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Forris and Una Jean Partain.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ruth Lloyd Partain; 3 sons, William Daniel Partain and wife Grace Semple of Glasgow, Scotland, Eugene Charles Roehlkepartain and wife Jolene of St. Louis Park, MN, and David Lloyd Partain of Linkoping, Sweden; 5 grandchildren; 1 brother, Morris Partain and wife Sue of TX; 1 sister, Wynon Samuelson of ME; 2 brothers-in-law, Ralph Lloyd Jr. of AR, and Edwin Lloyd and wife Candy of MS; 3 nephews, 1 niece, and countless caring friends and colleagues around the world.
