Druscilla Roseman Morgan age 87, died Monday April 11, 2016 at Mary Black Hospital in Spartanburg, SC. Born in Rowan County on November 17, 1928 she was the daughter of the late Curtis Douglas and Lilly Gladys McDonald Roseman. Druscilla was a member of the Ascension Lutheran Church in Shelby. Druscilla worked for the Federal Farm Bureau and later, she went to BellSouth where she worked until she retired after gaining her associates degree from Gardner Webb University. She enjoyed gardening and looking at flowers. In addition to her parents, Druscilla is preceded in death by a son, Stan Morgan.

Druscilla is survived by her husband of 70 years, Fred Morgan; a son, Steve Morgan of Boiling Springs SC; two daughters, Susan Morgan of Cary, IL. and Sandra Dodrill and husband Chris of Shelby; three sisters, Louise Bernal, Ruth Bonds, Joan Watson; a brother, C. D. Roseman and wife Marlene; and a grandson, Steve Morgan.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Sunset Cemetery with The Rev. Christina Auch officiating. The family will receive friends an hour before the service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory.
