Mr. E.J. Webber, 74, of 1003 Hardin Drive, Shelby, NC departed this life on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Wendover Hospice in Shelby. A native of Cleveland County, he was born on May 14, 1939, the only child of the late Elijah and Zona Patterson Webber.

E.J. was a member of Faith Hope Love Mission. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, James Webber.

He leaves to cherish fond memories, his former wife, Grace Webber of Shelby; two daughters, Angela Davis (Johnny) and Barbara Webber both of Shelby; two sons, Danny Webber and Bobby Webber both of Shelby; two step-daughters, Mary Patterson (Donald) and Minnie Tate both of Shelby; nineteen grandchildren; fifty-seven great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; a special care giver LaQuetta Oliver of Shelby and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 3:30 PM at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel with Pastor Lillie M. Smith officiating.  Burial will take place at Sunset Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 3:30 PM.
