Earl Steven Hudson, 47, of 3204 Baker Rd. in Gainesville, GA passed away November 7, 2013 at NE GA Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.

Born in Lincoln County, on September 27, 1966, he was a son of Lula Self Hudson and the late Buren Ezell Hudson.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Frances Hudson.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, DeAnn & Anthony Grindle of Gainesville, GA and Jessica & Mark Bramblett of Dawsonville, GA;  stepchildren Chris, Tim, and Ashley; brother, Claude Hudson of Gainesville, GA; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce & Tommy Bumgarner and Kathy & Donald Bumgarner all of Golden Valley, Maxine & Emory Roberts of Gainesville, GA, and Clara Bumgarner and David Crawford of Rutherfordton; four grandchildren, Emily Grindle, Ellie Grindle, Erynn Grindle, and Jace Bramblett and three step grandchildren.

Visitation: 4:00 to 6:00 PM, Sunday, November 10, 2013, at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston, NC  At other times, the family will be at the home of Kathy Bumgarner 133 Rhoney Campbell Rd. Ellenboro, NC 28040.

Funeral Service: 2:30 PM, Monday, November 11, 2013, at Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church

Officiating: Rev. David Miner, Rev. Dwayne Payne, Rev. Jerry Hudson.

Burial: Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church Cemetery
