Bessemer City, NC -- Eddie Forrest Moore, 70, of 200 Young Road, passed away on Tuesday, May 9th, 2023, at Caromont Health in Gastonia, NC.

Born in Shelby, NC. on October 8, 1952, to the late Ira Moore and Wilma Louise Carroll Moore. Eddie enjoyed fishing and his family.

Mr. Moore is survived by his brother, Steve Moore of Kings Mountain, NC, and three sisters; Irene Martin (Blacksburg), Lois Nalley (Gaffney), and Joyce Peace (Gaffney). Mr. Moore is survived by a number of cousins and other family and friends.

Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Larry Moore.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm, at Gordon Mortuary, 400 W. Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC 29702, with memorial service to immediately follow at 3:00pm with Rev. Vernon Craig officiating.

The family will be at their respective residences.
