Eddie Gene Clary, 79, 130 Bear Creek Road, Blacksburg, SC, went home to be with the Lord January 2, 2016, at Mary Black Health System, Gaffney, SC. He was the husband of Nola Faye Crawford Clary of the home and the son of the late Claude Lee and Louise Motts Clary. He was retired from the textile industry and attended Cherokee Falls Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons - Eddie Lyn Clary(Jeannie Davis) of Blacksburg, SC, and Rocky Shane Clary(Susan) of Boiling Springs, SC; one daughter - Gina Hope Allum(Allen) of Blacksburg, SC; five grandchildren - Brandon James Allum(fiancee' - Lara Larck), Brent Wade Clary(Lindsay), Tyler Lyn Clary, Caleb Clary and Christopher Clary; and two great-grandchildren - Hunter Wilkins and Ashlyn Wilkins. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother - Bobby Joe Clary.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8:00 PM, at White Columns Funeral Service.
A Celebration Of Life Service will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2016, 2:00 PM, at Cherokee Falls Baptist Church with Revs. Tim Knotts and Gregg Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens. At other times, they will be at the home.
Pallbearers serving are Ricky Patterson, Eddie McDaniel, Bobby Owens, Bryan Tindall, Tony McDaniel, Nathan Huskey and Terry Martin.
