Edna Catherine Wright Towery, 76, of Casar, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Atrium Health - Cleveland , Shelby .

Born in Cleveland County on May 6, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Bryson Wright, Sr. and Ruby Mae Hoyle Wright. She was retired from Henredon Furniture and she was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepdaughter, Lurea Towery Ridge; three brothers, Bryson Wright, Jr., Alan Wright and Ray Wright.

Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Sherrill Edison Towery; stepdaughter, Lisa Adams of Gastonia; four brothers, Kenneth Wright of Casar, Harold Wright of Morganton, Steve Wright of Casar and Randy Wright of Casar; five sisters, Pauline Wright of Casar, Barbara Ryan of Hickory, Gayle Buff of Boiling Springs, Mildred Brackett of Casar and Lisa Hudson of Connelly Springs and one step grandchild, Steven Ridge of Shelby.
