Clover -- Edna Lela Crocker Dover, 77, of 104 Whiteside Road, Clover, passed away Friday, February 22nd, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center.
Born in Smyrna, Mrs. Dover was the widow of Jimmy Rogers Dover and the son of the late Victor Madison Crocker and Mary Leona Martin Crocker. She worked as a winder in the textile industry and was a member of East Clover Church of God.
Mrs. Dover is survived by three sons, Danny Dover of Smyrna, Jimmy Neal Dover and James Dover, both of Clover; two daughters, Molly Carpenter and Virginia Dover, both of Clover; one half-brother, Roger Crocker of Pelzer, SC; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by a sister, Bernice Cook.
The family will receive friends Monday, February 25th, 2013 from 6:00pm - 8:30pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 26th, at 2:00pm at Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Ray Loftis, Rev. Bobbie Gilley, and Rev. J. Hibberts officiating. Interment will follow at Canaan United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will be at the residence.
