Edna Louise Bell Devine

Blacksburg -- Edna Louise Bell Devine, 91, of 355 Batchelor Drive, passed away Tuesday, March 1st, 2016, at her residence.

Born in Blacksburg, she was the widow of Phillip Howard Devine and the daughter of the late Edward Bell Sr. and Mary Johnson Bell. Mrs. Devine retired from the textile industry and was attended Blacksburg Church of God. She worked in the Blacksburg High School cafeteria for several years.

Mrs. Devine is survived by one son, Kevin Shawn Devine, and wife, Anita, of Gaffney; one daughter, Phyllis Devine Cobb, and husband, Sidney, of Blacksburg; five grandchildren, Dustin Lee Cobb and wife, Amanda, of Columbia, Brittney Cobb Deyton and husband, Tim, of Blacksburg, Corry Merrill Devine of Shelby, Tyler Reid Gregory of Fort Bragg, NC, and Austin Dakota Gregory of Gaffney; one sister, Luna White, of Gaffney; and two great-grandchildren, Gentry Scout Deyton and Cadence Deyton..

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 6th, 2016, from 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm at New Harvest Church of God, 120 Boiling Springs Highway, Gaffney, SC. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:30 pm with Rev. Robert Wells officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Blacksburg. Steve Bell, Freddy Hambright, Glen Bell, Gene Taylor, Dustin Cobb, Corry Devine, Tim Deyton, and Jackie Guest will serve as pallbearers.

Memorials may be made to New Harvest Church of God, 120 Boiling Springs Highway, Gaffney, SC 29341.

The family will be at the residence.
