Edna Mae Carico Wilkie, 93, of 3830 Grover Beaver Road, Morganton, passed
away Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Carolinas Healthcare System - Blue Ridge in
Morganton.

She was born in Cleveland County, on May 15, 1923 to the late Sam Carico and
Julie Bolton Carico. She was retired from Breeden Poultry as a supervisor.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two sons, Von Wilkie,
and Dean Wilkie; two daughters, Margaret Brown and Mary Wilkie; and several
brothers and sisters.

She is survived by a son James Wilkie of Polkville; daughter, Elaine Powell
of Morganton; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great
great grandchildren.
