Edward "Biff" Eugene Colburn Jr. age 54 died Monday January 18, 2016 at Carolinas Healthcare-Cleveland. Born in Hornell New York on March 27, 1961 he was the son of Patricia Marie Williams Baer of Greensboro and stepfather, the late, Marvin Baer. He was a member of the Methodist faith. He was the Facilities Manager at Sedgefield Apartments. He was involved with booster clubs of his children's school for their sports activities. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed working on cars and boating. In addition to his step father, Biff is preceded in death by his father; the late Edward Eugene Colburn Sr.

Biff is survived by his wife, Linda Colburn; a son, Edward "Scooter" Colburn III of Cherryville; a daughter, Bridgette Colburn of Greenville; a sister, Teresa Hoyler and husband Chris of Greensboro; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Sandra and Chris Alcott of Cherryville, Christine and Dennis Smartley of Dunedin Florida, Patricia and John Pearson of Palm Harbor Florida, numerous nieces and nephews and Tylan Ruff, of the home.

Memorial service will be held on Thursday January 21, 2016 at 6:00 pm in the chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends following the service.
