| Edward “Eddie” James Goforth, Jr., age 59, resident of Kings Mountain, NC died July 2, 2013 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. He was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late Edward James Goforth, Sr. and Ivey Martin Smith. He was also preceded in death by his son, Shilo Shawn Goforth, sisters; Patricia Smith Welch, “Sis” Smith, and brothers; Dean, Johnny, and June Smith. Eddie was a Vietnam Era Veteran and served with the 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, NC. He was a former employee of Copeland, Shelby, NC
The family would like to thank Cleveland Hemtology/Oncology, and “Lora” at CRMC and the staff of Kings Mountain Hospice House for their excellent care and support.
