She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Henry L. Kiser in 1999, four brothers Billy, Everett, Floyd and Clarence Ledford, four sisters, Edith Morrison, Florence Allen, Gertrude Champion and Betty Ledford.
She is survived by three children, Son and Daughter-in-law Don and Elaine Kiser; daughters and son-in-laws, Pat and Harold Garrett and Shirley and Butch Gunckle; Sister, Dolly Carpenter; Loving Caregiver Evonna Hall; thirteen grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren with one great-grandson expected in July; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at Carpenter’s Funeral and Cremation Services, Cherryville, NC on Tuesday 21, 2013 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. A celebration of life service will be held at Hephzibah ARP Presbyterian Church, Bessemer City on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 2:00 PM officiated by the Reverend Steven P. King. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
