| Elizabeth Ligon Phillips, 61, of 647 Bonner Lake Road, Gaffney, SC, died June 4, 2012 at Upstate Carolina Medical Center. Born in Cherokee County, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Esmer Annise Bullocks Ligon. She was employed by Peachtree Medical Centre.
She is survived by her son - Rich Gentry of Beale AFB, CA; one brother - Tommy Ligon of Blacksburg, SC; and three sisters - Patricia Greene of Lyman, SC, and Brenda Clark and Maybelle Wright both of Gaffney, SC. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister - Doris Phillips.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8:00 PM at White Columns. At other times, they will be at their respective homes. A Celebration Of Life Service will be held Friday, June 8, 2012, at 11:00 AM, at Clingman Memorial Gardens with Rev. Lucky Earls officiating.
