Blacksburg -- Elizabeth Love Flynn, 89, of 308 West Cherokee Street, passed away on Friday, November 19th, 2021, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born in Blacksburg, she was the widow of Donald Edward Flynn Sr. and the daughter of the late Charles Love and Margaret Love. Mrs. Flynn retired as a teacher and was a member of St. John United Methodist Church.

Surviving Mrs. Flynn are a son, Dr. Patrick Flynn, of the home, a daughter, Laura Cheek, of Newnan, GA, and six grandchildren: Charles Blake Barr, Matthew Barr, Dianna Barr, Leeland Flynn, Asa Flynn, and Eli Flynn.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Flynn was preceded in death by a brother, C.W. Love.

Services for Mrs. Flynn will be private.

The family will be at their respective homes.
