Ella Mae Gregory
 Ella Mae Gregory, 75, of 526 Cherokee Falls Road, passed away Tuesday, May 27th, 2014, at her residence.

Born in Blacksburg, she was the widow of George Gregory and the daughter of the late Roland "Chick" Holmes and Genell Holmes. Mrs. Gregory worked for Kelly's Steakhouse and in the cafeteria at Limeston-Central Elementary School and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.

Mrs. Gregory is survived by three sons, Edward Leopard of Gaffney, Steve Leopard of Blacksburg, and Joey Leopard of Gaffney; three grandchildren raised in the home, Mandi Leopard, Charlie Deaton, and Shi Durbin; one brother, Jimmy Holmes, of Charlotte; fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Gregory was preceded in death by a son, Tony Leopard; a daughter, Theresa Deaton; and three sisters, Sybil Eaves, Mary Farr, and Doris Cobb.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 28th, 2014, from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 29th, at 3:00 pm at Eastside Baptist Church with Rev. Eric Sellers and Rev. Terry Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens. Eddie Leopard, Chris Leopard, Charlie Deaton, Bobby Leopard, Alex Durbin, Bobby Durbin, Darren Durbin, and Dennis Heffner will serve as pallbearers.
