Blacksburg -- Ella Sue Byars, 59, of 398 Moss Crossing, passed away Sunday, March 13th, 2022, at her home.

Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Roy Byars and Artie Mae Whelchel Byars.

Ms. Byars is survived by her daughter, Tabitha Hollins of Blacksburg; her granddaughter, Alyiah Necole Cook of Blacksburg; her son-in-law, Mike Cook; her nieces, Missy, Dana, Tanya, Kim, Tammy, Ellen, and Wendy; her nephews, Terry Wayne, Billy Joe, Chris, Herbert, Robbie; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robbie Byars and Mike Byars, and her sisters, Pat Byars, Gail Humphries, Becky, and Alice Martin.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 18th, 2022, from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702. Memorial services will immediately follow at 6:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary Chapel.
