Elsie Rose Phillips Reep
 Blacksburg -- Elsie Rose Phillips Reep, 80, of 509 Garner Creek Road, passed away Monday, June 18th, 2012, at the Peachtree Centre.
 
Born in Hollywood, FL, Mrs. Reep was the widow of Thomas Luther Reep and the daughter of the late George Henry and Pearl Esther Mayberry Rose.  Mrs. Reep retired from psychiatric nursing and was a member of the Voice of Triumph.  Throughout her life, she also played piano at different Pentecostal churches.
 
Surviving Mrs. Reep are three sons, Larry W. Phillips of Weston, FL, David Lee Phillips of Anthony, FL, and Michael T. Reep of the home; a daughter, Arielle Reep Caraballo, of the home; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; special friends,  George and Dianna Langford and Sandra Crawford; and a special caregiver, Irene Martin.
 
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Reep was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Phillips Protzel; a grandson, Alex Phillips; a sister, Georgia Rose Cherry; and a brother, Lavra Dale Rose.
 
The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 20th, 2012, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Gordon Mortuary.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 21st, at 4:00pm at Voice of Triumph with Rev. Barbara Camp, Rev. Rob Crawford, and Revs. Ernest and Ann Rogers officiating.  Interment will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens.
 
The family will be at the residence.
