Mrs. Emily Jane Nolan Poston, 74, of Shelby, NC, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2010. Services were held at Elizabeth Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Poston was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel McBride Poston, Jr.; her parents, Clarence Sidney and Greathel Borders Nolan; 2 sisters, Catherine N. Hayes and Marie N. Turner; and 1 brother, C.S. Nolan, Jr.
She is survived by her beloved son and caregiver, Samuel McBride “Sam” Poston, III.
