Eric Loran Wilson

Blacksburg -- Eric Loran Wilson, 52, of 161 McDaniel Road, passed away Sunday, November 19th, 2017, in Newnan, Georgia.

Born in Kings Mountain, NC, he was the husband of Cindy Manning Wilson and the son of the late Loran Wilson and Betty Wilson. Mr. Wilson worked as a Electrician in the solar industry.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Wilson is survived by two sons, Dylan Wilson and fiance, Madison Hicks, of the home and Eric Travis Wilson of Bessemer City, NC; one step-daughter, Tena Penningtn and fiance, James "Jim" Abernathy of Lake Wylie, SC; one brother, Billy Wilson of Denver, NC; three sisters, Lisa Alonzo of San Antonio, TX, Lori LeeAnn Wilson of Slidell, LA, and Andrea "Andi" Wilson of Concord, NC; friend of many years, Ronnie Burris of Concord, NC; seven grandchildren, Leyland and Bryson Green, Raylee Bradley, Levi Wilson, Mikayla Pennington, Candace and Courtney Abernathy, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Eric is also survived by his co-workers and friends from Hannah Solar, Inc. of Atlanta, GA, Cam Singletary of Alabama and
Rusty Jones of Alabama.

Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Steven Keith Wilson, sisters-in-law, Linda "Lynn" Wilson, Debra Wilson, Frances Manning, and brother-in-law, Rene Alonzo.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 27th, 2017, from 10:30 am - 11:30 am at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702. Graveside services will immediately follow at 12:00 pm at Wisher Cemetery, 1272 Old Chester Road, Blacksburg, SC with Rev. Lucky Earls officiating. Dylan Wilson, Travis Wilson, Cam Singletary, Kevin Manning, Adam Messer, and James Abernathy will serve as pallbearers.

Memorials may be made to Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance (TSA), 801 Roedeer Road, Suite 750, Silver Spring, MC 20910 in honor of his niece, Jonnie, who suffers from a rare form of Tuberous Sclerosis Complex.
