Ernest Leroy Garrett, 64, of 419 Pine Street, passed away Saturday, April 2nd, 2016, at his residence.

Born in Bessemer City, NC, he was the husband of Donna Garrett and the son of the late Earnest Garrett and Beulah McCraw. Mr. Garrett retired as a Supervisor with Servicemaster.

In addition to his wife, he is survived one son, Ethan Barber; two sisters, Shirley Newman of Hammond, Indiana, and Mia Mueller of Chicago, Illinois; and one brother, Billy Garrett of St. Cloud, Florida.,

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bennie Garrett and Mike Garrett.

No services are planned at this time.

The family will be at the residence.
