Ethan Fite Receives Eagle Award
 Ethan Fite received his Eagle Award on Sunday, April 11, 2010 during the morning worship service at Lattimore Baptist Church. Special speaker was Jim Fite (Ethan’s grandfather) who was an assistant scout master at Lattimore Baptist in the 1970’s.

He is a member of Boy Scout Troop #115 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. He has been in scouting since 1st grade, for 10 years. He joined as a Tiger Cub Scout and completed Cub Scouts and earned his Arrow of Light before crossing over to Boys Scouts


Ethan’s project was Cemetery Beautification at Lattimore Baptist Church. He cleared an area back of the cemetery, planted grass, trimmed and mulched trees along the edge of the cemetery.  He also built 4 wooden benches and placed them in mulched areas around the cemetery. 


Ethan’s Scout Master-is Steve Hodges. His parents are Ann Fite and the late Scott Fite. He is a sophomore at Crest High School. Along with scouting, he is on the soccer and tennis teams at Crest.  He is also an active in the youth group at Lattimore Baptist Church.
