Blacksburg -- Ethylene "Cindy" Varner, 83, of 118 W Bells Branch Rd, passed away Saturday, January 20th, 2018, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Born in Blacksburg, she was the daughter of the late Frank Varner and Inez West Varner. Ms. Varner retired as a Housekeeper and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Surviving Ms. Varner are five brothers, Marshall, James, Charlie, Wilbur, and David Varner, all of Blacksburg.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Varner was preceded in death by six brothers, Walter, Carl, Ervin, Fred, Luther, and Algie Varner, and a sister, Ferleen Varner.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 11:00 am at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Norman Philbeck officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.

The family will be at the residence.
