Cherryville - Mrs. Eunice Christine Cline Stephens, 68, of 400 W. Academy
Street, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Stephens was born in Lincoln County, NC on June 9, 1949 a daughter of
the late Blaine William Cline and Lilly Mae Gordon Cline. She was retired
from textiles and attended Cherryville Missionary Methodist Church.

Survivors include her son, Bobby Vassey of High Shoals; a daughter, Tonya
Vassey of Cherryville; a brother, Dennis Ray Cline and a sister, Thelma
Cline both of Cherryville; five grandchildren, Courtney Vassey, McKayla
Vassey, McKenzie Wright, William Wright and Blaine Markland and three great
grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service with the Rev. Bobby
Holtsclaw officiating.

The family will greet friends following the service.

Burial will be private.
