Euzelia McSwain Vollbracht, age 94, resident of Kings Mountain, NC went to be with her Lord on September 26, 2016 at the Testa Family Hospice House, Kings Mtn. NC. She was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late Luther R. McSwain, Sr. and Terria McSwain. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Herlan Dale Vollbracht; brothers, William Andrew McSwain and Luther McSwain, Jr.; sisters, Theresa Mae McSwain Holt and Juanita McSwain Fitch. Mrs. Vollbracht was a graduate of Bethware High School and attended Gardner-Webb College. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Home Economics from Greensboro Women's College. She started her teaching career in Rutherford Co. and retired after 40 years from Burns High School, Lawndale, NC. She was a charter member of David Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School teacher of the Hardin Sunday School Class for 20 years and the Director of the Senior Citizens. She was very active in her volunteer work with a special interest in speaking about her surviving cancer with the Reach for Recovery Organization. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crochet, traveling and spending quality time with her family.

3 Great Grandchildren: Luke Hardin, Isabella Hardin, and Savannah Hardin.
